There can be more than one receiver in an email. These emails are heavily encrypted otherwise they can be hacked and then tampered. There are different protocols for sending and receiving emails.

Key Features of Mozilla Thunderbird

Like several browsers like Chrome, there is an add-ons feature in Thunderbird. Several handy tools that users might need during their browsing can be easily availed on top of this client using this feature. Some spam blocking tools can also be used as add-ons.

RSS Reader

The RSS Reader is a built-in feature in Thunderbird. Users just have to enter their feed account from any of their favorite websites. The best thing about this feature being it won’t clutter your mail with feeds instead will save your feed on the hard-disk drive of your PC.

Also Acts as A Grammar and Spell Checker

Users can go on and click on Tools, then click the Options and then the Composition tab, and under this click the Spell sub-tab and then download the dictionary add-on to make your vocabulary even better than before. Users can also download and Grammar Checker add-ons to check on their grammatical errors in any formal or informal letters or emails.

No Storage Issue

Due to the POP protocol, your PC’s hard-drive is being used to store all your important emails and letter, hence more the storage you have on your PC the more you can store the mails, unlike Gmail and Yahoo where users have to work within the provided limited storage.

Master Password

Users don’t need to worry if their device gets lost or is being misused since it is quite difficult to crack it into your email-id when you are using Thunderbird. This feature allows you to create a master password above all the log-in credentials, as this ensures and strengthen your security. To enable this feature follow the simple steps:- Tools > Options > Security Tab>Click on the sub-tab Password and tick on the Master Password Feature.
