There are several ways to obtain the OpenH323 code:

1. Download an executable for Linux or Windows.
These executables are created from the latest stable code release and represent the most stable code release available at this time. Note that these apps may require special drivers not present on all systems.

2. Download source code
The latest released source code sets are listed below, and are guaranteed to compile and work. However, they do not contain the latest code and will always lag the leading edge development to some degree.

Please download source code only if you are prepared to work out how to compile and run the code. Instructions on how to compile the code are on this site

3. Get source code from the OpenH323 CVS archive
This option is for the truly brave, or foolhardy! Or possibly the merely desperate! Although you will be guaranteed of the latest code that might have just the big fix you need, it may also have more problems than the "stable" releases.

Download Linux executables

Note 1: these executables are statically linked with the OpenH323 and PWLib libraries to maximise the chance that they will work on any given system. This also makes then larger than dynamically linked executables.

Note 2: If you require support for the Quicknet cards, then you will require the Linux Telephony component in kernel 2.2.14 or later. You will also need the latest Quicknet drivers from here for the Quicknet card support to work correctly.

Note 3: If the binary does not work on your system (quite likely given the large number of kernels, distributions and packages out there!), then you will need to get the source and compile it!

Note 1: you must download the DLL libraries for PWLib and OpenH323 before any of the applications will work. Put them into the same directory as the application or anywhere in your PATH.
