What is TCP view?
TCP view is a network monitoring utility software. Created by Microsoft, TCP view shows all the currently active TCP and UDP endpoints of a system in the form of graphical representation. In general, TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) and UDP (User Datagram Protocol) are the most widely used and known internet protocols among many Internet Protocol Scripts. An internet Protocol are used to control, well the internet. TCP is much simpler and much more known than UDP.

Using TCP view:
When you first launch TCP view, the program will automatically locate all TCP and UDP along with their endpoints and would also resolve all IP addresses to their domain name. You can also use the toolbar button or menu item to toggle displays of resolved means. On many Windows XP systems, TCP view also the names of each individual endpoint. The refresh rate of TCP viewer is about 1 time per second, but can be changed using the program menu. Simply click on Options – Refresh Rate to change your refresh rate as you wish.
