In this game, the player plays as Trevor Belmont where he has to defeat Dracula to win the game. The game allows any one companion to be accompanied by Trevor. If the player wants to choose another companion, he must abandon his current companion. The player can transform between Trevor and his ally by clicking on the select button on the screen. Trevor and his companion share the same health meter and if the companion gets hit, it affects the health meter. The companion Trevor chose affects the game’s ending.
The player has four lives and five hearts at the start of the game and he has to complete the block of stages before a timer runs out. The player has a health meter and when he is hit by an enemy the health meter decreases. The player loses the game if the health meter becomes zero. Players can collect food items to restore health, and bonus lives can be earned. The ultimate goal of the game is to defeat the enemy at the end of the stage to win the game.

The endings are “With grant”, “By oneself”, “With Sophia and “With Alucard” which is named after the companions in the game.
