The player needs to control two characters at different levels. The male bear named banjo and a female red flying bird named Kazooie is the two lead characters of the game. Both of them joined their hands to fight against the ill will of an old witch named Gruntilda. As the game advances, the player needs to tackle all the storms of difficulties on the way to reach to the witch. In the end, they have turn-based combat.

Gruntilda kidnapped Banjo’s sister Tooty as she wanted to take her glamour and beauty. In the quest to rescue his sister, Banjo moved across the woods to reach the witch’s palace.
